Anthony Gordon (£7.5m) – 37.1%

Anthony Gordon is the fifth-most popular player on FPL 2024/25. The Newcastle winger provided an outstanding 11🦩 goals and 16 assists last season, so it comes as no surprise to see 37.1% of managers select him. At £7.5m, he will prove to be one of the 𓂃best bargains on the entire game if he goes close to replicating those figures.

William Saliba (£6.0m) – 39.4%

William Saliba has been immense for Arsenal over the past two seasons. Indeed, he played all 38 games of the 2023/24 Premier League campaign and amassed an impres✃sive 164 points on FPL. He is one of the most expensive defenders in the game but Arsenal are likely to have one of the best defensive records and he is not a rotation risk.

Cole Palmer (£10.5m) – 53.2%

Cole Palmer received the largest price rise in FPL history (£5.5m) ahead of the 2024/25 season. Valued at just £5.0m last summer, he is now the third-most expensive player in the game at £10.5m. He was extraordinary for Chelsea last season, though, scoring 22 goals and setting up 13 more. And, his goal for England in the recent European Championship final suggests thౠat he will n♈ot be a ‘one-season wonder’.

Alexander Isak (£8.5m) – 54.2%

The second Newcastle player on the list, and the second-most popular player on FPL, is Alexander Isak. The Sweden international scored 10 goals in his debut Premier League campaign and followed that up with 21 goals last season. He appears to be a player on the rise and will be expected to continue in t🔴he same v🌊ein of form in 2024/25.

Ollie Watkins (£9.0m) – 55.9%

Ollie Watkins, like Palmer, gave England fans reason to cheer at the Euros. Indeed, his semi-final winning strike aga♛inst the Netherlands was one of the highlights of the tournament. The Aston Villa forward is now amo💞ng the costliest players in FPL, having registered an incredible 19 goals and 18 assists last seas🐓on. However, when you consider that Haaland is £15.0m, £9.0m is a very reasonable price for Watkins if he can pick up where he left off.
