‘That’s why’: Son Heung-min thinks he knows why Harry Kane is not scoring so often for Tottenham now
Heung-min Son‘s partnership with Harry Kane at Tottenham is as devastating as any in the Premier League.
Son said in an interview with Stadium Astro on that Kane has become more unselfish in recent weeks, as Spurs have reinvigorated their Champions League push.
Antonio Conte’s men are in pole position to finish fourth, but that huge north London derby next month looms large and could decide the seasons of both clubs.
Son hailed Kane’s performances for the good of the team, despite the fact he has not scored in his past five Premier League games, as per .

“Harry is playing more for the team, because he knows he wants to help the team,” said Son.
“As a striker sometimes you feel like you should be selfish but Harry isn’t. Sometimes Harry should be selfish and Harry is giving so much for the team, because he can shoot but he is giving assists and scoring goals.
“He has the attitude of a striker, 100% I know him and he has it, but if he sees because he’s dropping he wants to help the team – that’s why his goals are a little bit down.
“But as a teammate I want to help Harry score so many goals because I want to win Harry everything because I know what he does for the team.”

Kane tends to go through periods like this in his career. It would be no surprise to see him catch fire in front of goal again between now and the end of the season.
Kane will not win the Premier League Golden Boot this season but he may be keen to push himself as high up the standings as possible.
He is currently on 12, with Son second on 17, five behind Mo Salah and the player who does not play for Liverpool with the most realistic chance to catch the Egyptian.
The most important thing of course is getting Spurs into the top four, and Kane could help achieve that goal, not least with a goal against Arsenal next month.
