‘That’s where’… Pundit tells the Celtic fans exactly who is to blame for what’s happened at Parkhead this season
As Celtic’s defeat to Hearts opens up a huge can of worms this weekend, the scattergun has come out and everybody connected to the club is getting a dose of criticism.
The players and the manager have been under the spotlight for some time now but pundit, Tam McManus, believes that the fan’s anger should be directed towards the board after this latest poor showing gives Rangers the chance to go top of the league.
Taking to social media channel , McManus was in no doubt who is to blame for what the Celtic fans are currently watching from their team right now.
McManus said, “Shocking result for Celtic today and the pressure really cranks up on the manager & the board.
“But also the recruitment from Mark Lawell/recruitment team at Celtic has been absolutely abysmal can’t think of a worse window.
“That’s where the finger should squarely be pointed at.”
The Celtic board have been receiving huge amounts of criticism for the club’s poor transfer business over the last couple of windows.

With Brendan Rodgers bemoaning the lack of quality in the Celtic squad, despite the vast amounts of cash sitting in the Paradise bank account, the club’s insistence on continuing to buy project players who are clearly not good enough has left the fans feeling very perplexed at where the club is heading.
The January transfer window is almost upon Rodgers and the fans will be looking to see the manager and the board invest heavily to kick this team into life for the second half of the season.
With Celtic needing to strengthen various areas of the team and with the Asian Cup coming up, Rodgers has a job on his hands to make sure this title defence doesn’t completely derail this season.
