‘That’s quality’, ‘magician’: Yannick Bolasie wowed by two Everton teammates yesterday
Everton winger Yannick Bolasie praised teammates Alex Iwobi and James Rodriguez for their roles in the Toffees’ fourth goal at Goodison Park yesterday.
Carlo Ancelotti’s charges returned to the top of the Premier League table with a fourth victory from four league games, running out 4-2 winners over Brighton on Merseyside.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin continued his incredible scoring run with his sixth Premier League goal of the season and ninth in all competitions, a towering header in the 16th minute.

A Jordan Pickford error led to Neal Maupay firing home on 41 minutes, but Yerry Mina nodded Everton back in front in first-half injury time.
Goal number three saw Iwobi, who had come on as a first-half substitute after Richarlison picked up a knock, deliver a cross at the back post for Rodriguez to clinically put away.
Iwobi then provided a sublime defence-splitting pass for Abdoulaye Doucoure to whip towards Rodriguez, who made no mistake with a cool sidefooted finish.
Bolasie loved what he saw from the Toffees and was especially impressed with Toffees goal number four:
Nah nah nah….big up Iwobi every time! Bro that’s quality & obviously the magician 🎩 is gonna tuck that away! 😍🔵

And come full time, he was delighted with Everton back on top:

Up next for Everton – after the international break – is the Merseyside derby, with Liverpool making the short trip to Goodison Park.
