He came as an 83rd-minute substitute in the 5-0 win at Watford in October.

have claimed that Williams is concerned about his lack of playing time ahead of the World Cup playoffs.

Wales have a huge semi-final encounter against Austria in March and Williams is conscious of his place in the team.

Therefore, he would like Liverpool to consider a move for him this month to improve playing time, claimed the report.

The Reds appear willing to accomodate Williams’ request, albeit if the right offer was made.

Liverpool are reportedly sympathetic to his cause but won’t be rushed into any deal.

In addition, claim it’s “too early to see” whether Williams would leave on loan or permanently.

Williams has made 31 appearances for Liverpool since making his debut in October 2019.

He has often received praise for his outstanding displays for club and country.

In 2020, former Liverpool striker Peter Crouch lauded Williams’ display in the FA Cup victory over Shrewsbury.

“Williams was terrific once again and could end up being Trent Alexander-Arnold’s understudy,” he wrote in the Daily Mail.
