Report: Everton offer eight-time league winner manager’s job; Brands held meeting with 67-year-old
Everton have made an offer for Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim, according to .
The publication is claiming that the 67-year-old is unlikely to return ass manager unless Burak Elmas wins the upcoming elections.
Terim has been linked with roles in Qatar and Ligue 1 outfit Lille, where a few Turkish players play.
The Blues are thought to have offered a deal for the coach, which was aired on Persian TV, Manoto, connected with Fahad Moshiri’s wife, Nazenin Ansari.
There has been no further details regarding aspects of the deal. However, Marcel Brands had a meeting with Terim at the request of President Ferhat.

TBR View: Terim would prove an uninspiring and risky manager appointment for Everton
Moving forward is key for the Merseysiders following Carlo Ancelotti’s reign.
His exit has caused a need for a shake-up at Goodison Park, preferably with a long-term plan.
The instability on show at the club is frightening. A new manager would be the fourth coach in less than two years, a show of lack of direction.
However, an appointment of Terim as manager would be uninspiring and risky for Everton.
The Turk has only ever managed 41 games outside his native country, showing off a lack of experience.
He has dominated the Super Lig during three different spells with Galatasaray, winning eight league titles. However, you feel the achievement is somewhat clouded given the quality of the division.
And with Everton wanting to tackle Europe, you feel they’d benefit from a different appointment.
At 67-years-old, Terim is nearing the end of his career in management. The club are likely to get a couple of seasons out of the veteran coach.
A younger target would act as a better leader for Everton, who are in desperate need for long-term guidance moving forward.
