‘Tears in my eyes’: Some Arsenal fans think their chances of landing Houssem Aouar have shot up

A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on the claim by Canal Plus journalist Felix Herve suggesting Matteo Guendouzi is being eyed by Lyon in case of Houssem Aouar’s departure.

The Arsenal midfielder has been frozen out at the Emirates Stadium in wake of him grabbing Brighton striker Neal Maupay by the throat towards the end of the Gunners’ defeat at the Amex Stadium.

The claimed that there were taunts from the Arsenal man about how much he and his teammates earned compared to those of Brighton, and the incident was thought to be the last straw for Arteta.

aouar gdouzi swap would be a dream tho. defensively amongst buendia, cantwell, szoboszlai, grealish and aouar who do think is a better contributor. I tried looking at some numbers last night, found that buendia is marginally better than them. although didnt have league numbers..
