TBR View: Noni Madueke highlights Tottenham blunder with PSV form
Tottenham are busy trying to claim a top-four finish and a return to the Champions League. As they struggle for consistency, Noni Madueke looks destined for the elite European club competition with PSV.
The 19-year-old was snapped up by the Eredivisie outfit in 2018 after being allowed to leave the North London-based club. He spent four years at Tottenham after originally being snapped up from London rivals Crystal Palace.
Madueke has served his time with various PSV youth teams and is this season enjoying a breakthrough campaign in Holland. The team currently sits in second place with only Ajax above them.

The versatile forward has been instrumental under manager Roger Schmidt, with the boss placing his trust in the youngster from the start of the 2020/21 campaign.
Furthermore, Madueke actually looks like a real player. He has scored eight goals and claimed eight assists in all competitions for the Champions League-chasing team.
The teenage talent has largely played as a striker under Schmidt but can also operate on either flank or as a No.10 if called upon.
A desire to make the step up to first-team football led Madueke to join the Dutch club. In an interview with , he suggested that he felt there weren’t as many opportunities for youngsters to play regularly in the Premier League.
, a snippet from Schmidt claimed he called the youngster ‘very good’ and he was happy with his ‘mentality’ during matches.
Options
Tottenham signed Carlos Vinicius during the summer on a pretty expensive loan deal. He has managed just six Premier League outings, without scoring a goal yet.
At the end of the season, he seems likely to return to Benfica and Spurs will begin their search for another player to compete with the sensational Harry Kane.

After showing some blistering form at PSV, Madueke is showing that he has the talent to make the grade in men’s football.
Mauricio Pochettino was in charge of the first-team when Tottenham opted not to stand in the way of Madueke heading to Eindhoven to continue his career.
