TBR view: Leeds should rival West Brom for signing of Mislav Orsic
has reported that West Brom are set to make a bid for Dinamo Zagreb winger Mislav Orsic. The forward has been in red hot form this season and Leeds should consider rivaling their title challengers in a move for the Croatian international.
Both sides have suffered from a recent dip in form and the race for top-spot is really heating up. January business could be crucial to getting the edge and that is why Leeds need to do all they can to get Orsic ahead of West Brom.

Although they already have Jack Harrison and Helder Costa occupying the wide positions, neither player has provided the returns that the Zagreb player has. He has scored 19 goals in 26 games across all competitions, which included a Champions League hat-trick. He would offer a real goal threat at Elland Road.
The Whites have lost the goals of Eddie Nketiah this month after he returned to Arsenal and could do with some reinforcements up front. Che Adams has been linked with a move, but it seems like Southampton are not keen on letting go of the 23-year-old ().

A move for Orsic would also have a direct impact on their title rivals. If Leeds can nip in ahead of West Brom for his signature, it would effectively weaken the Baggies whilst strengthening their squad.
It could also provide the club’s other attacking options the motivation they need to find the form that could take Leeds back to the Premier League. Marcelo Bielsa should seriously consider a move for the Croatian winger.
