TBR View: John Jules form is timely as exciting talent kicks on at Arsenal
Arsenal youngster Tyreece John-Jules has returned to the Doncaster Rovers team with a bang as he looks to kick-start his second loan spell.
The 19-year-old had a loan with Lincoln City cut short last season after picking up an injury.
He suffered a similar fate during 2020/21 shortly after checking in at the Keepmoat Stadium, missing eight League One matches.

His last two games have seen him score against Hull City and Northampton though and his goals couldn’t be more timely.
Back at Arsenal, Mikel Arteta is trying desperately to convince Folarin Balogun that his future lies at the Emirates Stadium.
John-Jules’ under-23 teammate has featured in three Europa League games, scoring just 37 seconds after coming on against Molde.
It remains to be seen whether or not a few European outings will convince Balogun to commit his future at the club.
It’s vital that John-Jules continues to showcase his talents though.
With Arteta showing a willingness to utilise his talented youngsters, that could open a door for the striker next season.
Prior to his move to Lincoln during 2019/20, the Arsenal boss spoke highly of John-Jules.
Potential
“When he was with us I was impressed with him, his understanding of the game, how he links with the people around him, how powerful he is. He has got a goal in him.”
John-Jules looks like he was born to score goals and a few more at Doncaster wouldn’t do his Arsenal chances any harm.

With Balogun also emerging from the under-23 ranks the future looks extremely bright at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal are languishing towards the foot of the Premier League table and as the squad continues to evolve, utilising the academy players for a couple of years might help win some supporters round.
John-Jules could be a future Gunners star.
