TBR View: Could Arsenal use Guendouzi to beat Barca and Newcastle, for French ace?
Matteo Guendouzi is reportedly expected to join Marseille on a permanent basis from Arsenal in the summer, for a fee of £10million (). But Arsenal could use Guendouzi’s exit to their advantage, and sign his teammate.
Guendouzi, 22, joined Marseille in the summer on a loan-to-buy deal – with a permanent clause included. Mikel Arteta lost patience with the Frenchman, amid numerous lapses in discipline. He also went to Hertha Berlin on loan.
The France Under-21 ace has started 21 of Marseille’s 24 games in all competitions – coming off the bench in two others. For such a bargain price, given his important to the side, it is expected Guendouzi will join permanently.
But Arsenal are interested in signing his teammate, Boubacar Kamara, who is out of contract at the end of the season. If Marseille are to get some cash for his signature, then they will have to sell him in January.

Could Arsenal use Guendouzi to sign Kamara next month?
that Arsenal are battling Newcastle, Barcelona, Milan and Juventus to sign Kamara. A deal could be done next month if Marseille want a fee – and Arsenal have a trump card in Guendouzi.
Surely, a deal could be done between the two sides. They have a good relationship, with William Saliba also on loan at the Ligue 1 club. Instead of sanctioning a £10million Guendouzi exit in the summer, why not do it in January?
Instead of Arsenal paying Marseille to sign Kamara, instead, just sanction the exit of Guendouzi and Marseille keep the cash. A swap deal, then, given that Marseille were going to buy Guendouzi anyway.
