TBR View: Arsenal need midfielder more than Tottenham, price tag set at £23m
Arsenal and Tottenham-linked Mady Camara can leave Olympiacos this summer for a reported price tag of just £23million but which north London club needs to sign the midfielder more?
Camara, 23, featured against both Tottenham and Arsenal in European competition this season. He starred in the middle of the park against Spurs in the Champions League, before helping the Greek side knock Arsenal out of the Europa League.
It comes as no surprise, then, that the Guinea international has gained admirers from both north London clubs ahead of the summer window. According to a report earlier this month, Arsenal are keen, while say Spurs are interested.
The latest reports from now say interested parties will have to spend £23million to sign Camara a fee which Tottenham and Arsenal can easily afford. Both clubs could do with additions in the middle of the park.

Tottenham signed Gedson Fernandes, Tanguy Ndombele and Gio Lo Celso in the summer, adding to their options of Harry Winks, Eric Dier, Moussa Sissoko and Oliver Skipp. Though well-stocked, Ndombele and Fernandes have struggled.
Dier has moved into defence, while Sissoko has been on the sidelines since January with an injury. Skipp is still young, and Victor Wanyama has moved to MLS side Montreal Impact. A midfielder is needed, then.
But signing a central midfielder is much more crucial at The Emirates. Dani Ceballos is only on loan, while Lucas Torreira’s absence through a fractured ankle has highlighted the issue. Granit Xhaka could leave, while Matteo Guendouzi is still young.
Arsenal need a bit of tenacity in the middle of the park, something that Spurs boast in the form of both Winks and Lo Celso. Camara boasts that in abundance, and Mikel Arteta must work tirelessly to beat Spurs to Camara’s signature.
