TBR View: Anwar El Ghazi should seek loan move away from Aston Villa
Time is running out for players to secure moves away from their clubs ahead of the domestic deadline and Aston Villa flyer Anwar El Ghazi should be seeking a move away from Villa Park.
The Dutch winger was included in Dean Smith’s plans during 2019/20 but has found himself on the fringes so far this season.
With that in mind, the 25-year-old should be asking Aston Villa to sanction a loan move ahead of tomorrow’s cut-off.
El Ghazi is capable of playing on either flank and proved a decent acquisition for the Villans when he originally signed on loan from Lille.

During the 2018/19 campaign, he scored seven goals and registered six assists, with his most important goal coming in the play-off final against Derby County.
His sparkling form earned him a permanent move to Villa Park. Smith parted with of his transfer budget to add the winger on a full-time basis.
Last season was an impressive one for El Ghazi too. In 40 appearances for the club, he scored six goals and registered seven assists, helping Villa to survival on the final day of the campaign.
The summer signing of Bertrand Traore and the form of Trezegut have seen El Ghazi slip down the pecking order though.
Out of contention
He has played in all three of Villa’s games in the Carabao Cup but is yet to make an outing in the Premier League.
With that in mind, El Ghazi must do whatever he can to get himself out of Villa Park before tomorrow’s deadline.

Transfer windows remain open in Holland, Russia and Portugal; whilst a move to the Championship can take place until 5pm on Friday.
El Ghazi is far too good to not be playing football and the £30,000-a-week should have plenty of suitors if he were to pursue regular football.
