Tammy Abraham has decided which club he wants to join after interest from West Ham

West Ham United have been one of the most active clubs in the transfer window this summer.

Julen Lopetegui has added nine new players to his ranks, taking the club’s total spend to around £121m.

Niclas Fullkrug completed a switch from Borussia Dortmund earlier this month but The Hammers are still keen on signing another striker.

Tammy Abraham has been identified by West Ham chiefs and it’s thought a £20m bid was lodged for the Roma frontman.

Now, we can exclusively reveal which club Abraham wants to join this week.

Tammy Abraham wants to join AC Milan despite West Ham interest

Journalist Graeme Bailey, speaking exclusively to TBR Football, has provided the latest on Tammy Abraham’s future amid links to West Ham.

“We understand the player’s preference is to move to AC Milan this week,” Bailey said.

“Paulo Fonseca is desperate to land him as he wants to add him to his striking options despite the arrival of Alvaro Morata.

“We understand Abraham wants to move to Milan and talks are ongoing between the two clubs.

“West Ham are one of the clubs who have an interest in Abraham – although it is believed that they would have to make room to bring in a new forward. They are trying to move Danny Ings before the window closes.”

So, it seems West Ham will have to look elsewhere…

West Ham should consider loan market

Bringing in a striker on a permanent deal at this stage of the window will be really tough, so West Ham should consider the loan market.

Perhaps they should re-enter talks for Jhon Duran and propose a season-long loan deal with Unai Emery clearly not sold on the 20-year-old.

A telling few days await.
