TalkSPORT presenter questions whether Calvert-Lewin could move to Manchester City this summer
TalkSPORT’s Alan Brazil questioned whether Everton man Dominic Calvert-Lewin could make a sensational switch to Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
Speaking on talkSPORT Breakfast , the former Scotland international seemed to hint that the Englishman could move to the Etihad Stadium as he lauded the 24-year-old.
The centre forward has enjoyed a season to remember on the blue half of Merseyside, notching across all competitions, including 15 in the Premier League; a sign for Brazil that he could be the man for Pep Guardiola’s team.
When speaking about Calvert-Lewin’s qualities, Brazil said: “Calvert-Lewin looks like he has class to me. He’s very graceful, he’s a good runner and he leaps beautifully, is he bound for a move out of Goodison Park?”
After Watford’s Troy Deeney appeared to pour cold water on the presenter’s claims, he alluded to the front man’s English top-flight experience: “Manchester City, are they going to go big? Will they take a chance on someone who scores goals in the Premier League?”

There is no surprise the Citizens will be looking to go big in the summer transfer window, with Sergio Aguero departing the club after a decade in the northwest of England.
However, a move for Erling Haaland seems to be a no-go with BVB’s chief, pouring cold water over a summer move for the Norway international, claiming he will remain at the club beyond this season.
The news may well come as a bitter blow to Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti, who will sweating over the future of his young striker.
His form and all-round attacking play seems to have attracted , and with the situations surrounding Aguero and Haaland working against Guardiola’s side, they could follow their Manchester rivals in targeting the 6 foot 1 striker.
Everton’s reliance on their front man this campaign has been quite staggering, with the England under-20 World Cup winner of the team’s 45 top-flight goals; a third of their tally.
With the City boss chasing a new forward in the summer, it is only natural that a player of Calvert-Lewin’s ability is linked with the light blue outfit. It will make for uneasy viewing for Everton supporters, who will be watching the developments unfold from behind their sofas as they face losing their biggest goal threat.
