Arsenal masterstroke could soon have them ‘laughing all the way to the bank’
Arsenal are gearing up for their return to Premier League action in arguably the most high-stakes fixture there is for the Gunners.
Mikel Arteta’s charges will be heading to Tottenham Hotspur to contest the North London derby on Sunday afternoon.
Admittedly, there hasn’t been much to smile about on the Arsenal front of late, with their midfield now depleted ahead of the match.
However, journalist Alex Crook has now dropped an update regarding recent Gunners business that could well have the club “laughing all the way to the bank”.

How much Arsenal are paying of Raheem Sterling’s salary
Right at the end of transfer deadline day, Arsenal completed the loan signing of Raheem Sterling from Chelsea.
The Gunners very much got the long end of the stick in the deal, as they brought a world-class Premier League veteran to N5 for not much money.
It was also reported that Arsenal wouldn’t be footing much of Sterling’s salary – but now Crook has reported just how little they are paying.
Crook, citing sources close to the deal, say talkSPORT have had it “confirmed” that Arsenal are paying just 30 percent of Sterling’s wages.
This has left Chelsea to pick up the tab for the remaining £12million-a-year in a move believed to be driven by Behdad Eghbali.
“Arsenal will be laughing all the way to the bank if Sterling gets back to anywhere near his top form,” said Crook.
In addition, Sterling is determined to prove he can still cut it at the top level, added the transfer insider.

When Raheem Sterling could make Arsenal debut
Sterling joined Arsenal on loan from Chelsea right at the end of transfer deadline day. Indeed, the Sterling to Arsenal deal was confirmed after 11pm.
The England international is one of the most decorated English players in recent memory during his time with Manchester City.
At Arsenal, Sterling will certainly want to prove that he can still play a big part for a title-winning side.
He will also want to repay Mikel Arteta’s faith, the Spaniard having also worked wonders with him when the two were at Man City together.
Sterling is in line to potentially make his Arsenal debut on Sunday 15 September when the Gunners head to the home of their bitter rivals at N17.
