‘Talks in progress’… Leeds are now discussing selling their ‘very fast’ player
Leeds United lost a number of big name players over the summer after their relegation from the Premier League.
The likes of Tyler Adams, Rodrigo and Luis Sinisterra all left Elland Road in the summer, and now, with the January window open, there could soon be another big name departure.
Indeed, according to , Leeds are now in active discussions with Everton about selling Wilfried Gnonto to the Toffees.
🚨👀 are still working to sign Wilfried in January.

This is a transfer rumour that did the rounds on a number of occasions in the summer, and it looks as though it’s not going away.
Everton, of course, already have Jack Harrison on loan from Leeds, and it looks as though they could be set to add another Whites star to their ranks now.
It feels strange to say this after such a fantastic season last time around, but Leeds probably won’t miss Gnonto that much if he does go.

The Italian was fantastic in the Premier League last term, but he seems to have gone backwards over the past few months.
He’s not starting for Leeds on a weekly basis at this point, and with just one goal and one assist to his name in the league so far this season, he’s not exactly making a massive impact.
Of course, at the age of just 20 and with a very promising Premier League season under his belt, this is still a player who holds a lot of value in the transfer market, and if Leeds are to sell their ‘very fast’ attacker, they need to hold out for a solid fee from Everton.
As for Gnonto at Everton, it will be very interesting to see how this one works out if it goes ahead.
Gnonto, as we all know, is a very diminutive player, and Sean Dyche is known for his love of big physical players rather than small, tricky technicians.
This is certainly a situation to keep an eye on in the coming days and weeks.
