Takehiro Tomiyasu names the two Arsenal players who are ‘nightmare’ in training

Arsenal defender Takehiro Tomiyasu has given his verdict on wingers Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.

Tomiyasu has noted what it is like to come up against Saka and Martinelli in training.

So, what has Takehiro Tomiyasu said about his Arsenal teammates Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli? Let’s take a look.

Takehiro Tomiyasu praises Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli

Well, Arsenal defender Takehiro Tomiyasu has been raving about Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.

Saka and Martinelli are two of the best young players in the Premier League, and Japan international defender Tomiyasu is happy to be playing with them at Arsenal.

Tomiyasu, who can operate as a centre-back or full-back, has noted that England international winger Saka makes life easier for him.

The defender has added that it is not easy to play against Saka or Brazil international winger Martinelli in training.

Tomiyasu told about Saka: “He makes my life easier. The assist from the game against Wolves, for me I didn’t do anything.

“I just gave him the ball then he made it, so yeah he makes my life easier.”

When asked about marking Saka in training, the full-back noted: “Nightmare!

“When I play at right full-back, I play against [Gabriel] Martinelli obviously he’s one of the best wingers and he’s one of the most toughest opponents for me.”

Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli could become world class

In my opinion, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli have huge potential and could become world class. Arsenal are a better team with the two young wingers in it.

Saka is only 22 and is already a regular in the England team. He is one of the first names on the Arsenal teamsheet. Aston Villa manager Unai Emery rates him highly.

Martinelli is also 22 and has played nine times for Brazil already. Like Saka, he plays regularly for Arsenal. He has the X-factor.

Arsenal are aiming to win the Premier League title and make a big impact in the UEFA Champions League this season. I believe that Saka and Martinelli will be big players for the Gunners in that quest.
