Takehiro Tomiyasu update issued ahead of Arsenal trip to Manchester United
Arsenal will hope to take their Premier League title challenge into the final matchday of the season by beating Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners cur𓃲rently sit top of the table, but could find themselves slipping down to second depending on how Manchester City fare at Fulham on Saturday.
Arsenal will hope to make the mos🌺t of Manchest✨er United’s poor form when they contest the penultimate game of matchweek 37 at Old Trafford.
On Tuesday, the Sky Sports cameras were at London Colney to watch Mike𓆉l Arteta put his players through their paces ahead of the Red Devils clash.

There was some cause for concern as Takehiro Tomiyasu wasn’t spotted in the session, 🍬and Charles 𒐪Watts has now provided an update about the 25-year-old’s fitness.
What did Charles Watts say about Arsenal defender Takehiro Tomiyasu?
Watts said on his : “Theไy (Sky Sports) picked up that Takehiro Tomiyasu was not involved in th☂e training session, he was the only first team member of the squad not involved in the session.
“But word is that it’s not b🥂ecause of an injury issue or anything that could keep him out of the gam🐽e at the weekend.
“It’s more that he was just inside doing some tr💎aining on his own, but should be fine for the weekend, and that just means Mikel’s going to have a fully fit squad to choose from.”
Boost for Arsenal as Takehiro Tomiyasu likely to be available against Manchester United
Tomiyasu has spent a large chunk of the season on the sidelines due🍨 to a calf injury, so it was conc🌱erning not to see him in the training session.
However, by the looks of things, Arsenal are 🥃being careful in terms of managing the ‘‘ talent’s fitness and workload in the last few 𝕴matches of the season.
Since ꦆreturning to fitness, Tomiyasu has played an increasingly prominent role in recent weeks, taking over from Oleksandr Zinchenko and Jakub Kiwior left-back.
It’s good to hear from Watts that Tomiyasu should be fine for the weekend, as he’s a key player and probably the best option at🎶 left-back in terms ൲of defending.
