‘Superb’: Tottenham player Conte’s yet to use lauded for ‘classy performance’ by nation’s media; rated 8/10
Joe Rodon received one of the highest ratings following Wales’ emphatic victory over Belarus, with the Tottenham Hotspur starlet being labelled as a ‘superb presence’ at the heart of the backline.

Rodon may have been one of the players that some expected to benefit most from the departure of Nuno Espirito Santo.
He had only made one Premier League appearance before the arrival of Conte.
Unfortunately, he was not involved for the draw with Everton before the international break.
With that in mind, the coming months will surely prove to be a crucial period in his Spurs career. He will be wary of seeing his development stagnate.
At 24, there surely needs to be signs of reasons for optimism.
