I always take Twitter transfer rumours with a pinch of salt, but blimey, Patrick Roberts would be a cracking January signing for us.

He’s got good pedigree, and he’d definitely score goals at this level. Would be brilliant if we could bring him in! 🔴⚪️
I remember watching him periodically for Celtic & he was really impressive. Brendan Rodgers spoke very highly of him as well.

Exactly the kind of player we should be targeting, in my opinion!
Statement signing that. What a player he was at Celtic. If he can rekindle any kind of form similar to that, then we've got one hell of a player on our hands. Neil, Embo, Pritchard, Roberts: a very technical group of players there.

If true, absolutely brilliant signing.

Patrick Roberts has proper pedigree. His career has stalled a bit but he would be a cut above League One level.

You never know for sure until he arrives but gut feeling is that this would be an immense signing.
If the Patrick Roberts rumours are true that is a statement of intent signing and a very good one at this level 👏
