‘Suffering’… Andy Halliday is really worried at what he’s seeing from 29-year-old Celtic player under Brendan Rodgers

Away from transfer talk for a minute as we move to looking at the domestic action for a minute, concerns have been raised about the form of Celtic striker, Kyogo Furuhashi.

The Japanese striker has struggled to find the goalscoring form that made him a huge fan favourite over the past two seasons and Motherwell midfielder and pundit, Andy Halliday has shared what is really concerning him after watching Kyogo this season.

Halliday said [], “I read earlier it was 210 minutes per goal is his st🥃ats in the league this season when you compare it to David Turnbull who’s got a goal every 96 minutes.

🌟“I’m watching highlights and I’m watching games at times and he’s maybe only getting one, two or three chances max.

“But I think overall, I think his game is suffering for the way Celtic are playing at the moment.”

Why Kyogo Furuhashi is struggling at Celtic

The 29-year-old striker still has that touch of magic and﷽ the Celtic fans saw that against Rangers whenꦓ he scored a wonder goal in the last Glasgow Derby.

With just 11 goals in all competitions 💮so far this season, it is clear that Kyogo is not going to reach the heights that💞 saw him crowned the SPFL Top Goalscorer with 23 goals and Celtic’s Player of the Year last season. []

The lack of service the Japan international is getting this season is definitely hampering his 🍸ability to find the back of the net.

Losing the likes of Jota and the injury to Liel Abada have starved Kyogo of the supply he was ꦡso used to under Ange Postecoglou.

With Daizen Maeda also not able to provide his compatriot with assists due to his participation in the Asia Cup, Brend🧸an Rodgers will need to find a way to get the £4.6m man firing again or there is a real danger that the the leﷺague title could slip away this season.
