‘Such good news’: Some Aston Villa fans celebrate club announcement involving £80k-a-week man

Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club that Tyrone Mings would be replacing Jack Grealish as captain.
What’s the story?
Well, it’s a significant moment in the 28-year-old’s career.
The England international has been handed the armband by Dean Smith, following Grealish’s move to Manchester City.
Only Manchester City and Chelsea kept more, which is testament to Mings and his fellow defenders at Villa Park.
No better choice than Tyrone Mings

There are few better choices for the armband at Villa Park than Mings, if any.

With McGinn also in a leadership role, another vocal figure, the Villans are in good hands as the 2021/22 season gets underway.
Let’s see how the Aston Villa fans on Twitter reacted to the club’s …
Rebuilt his career from non-league level, advocate for equality and mental health champion. Inspiring others to be their best. A leader on and off the pitch.
