Stuart Dallas messages Leeds fans on Twitter after signing new deal
Stuart Dallas has taken to Twitter to thank the Leeds United supporters for the messages that he has received after signing a new contract at Elland Road.
Dallas became one of the latest stars to sign a new deal with the Whites this week, with the club that the Northern Ireland international is now set to stay until 2023. Liam Cooper’s fresh terms were also confirmed in the same announcement.
Dallas has certainly earned his contract extension. He surprised many with his form towards the end of last season. But that is nothing compared to the reaction his performances have received this term.
The 28-year-old has been outstanding at right-back after Luke Ayling sustained an injury in pre-season. And right now, it is difficult to see how Ayling gets back into the team once he returns.
Unsurprisingly, the supporters are delighted that Dallas has been rewarded with a fresh deal. Marcelo Bielsa is clearly a big fan of the wide-man and his versatility. And he has become a fan favourite once again.
And after the news was announced, Dallas took to social media to express his delight at signing a new deal. He also had a message for the supporters.
