Stuart Dallas expresses Gjanni Alioski hope after Leeds win
Stuart Dallas suggested during Leeds United’s Player of the Year awards (via ) that he hopes that Gjanni Alioski will stay at Elland Road beyond this season.
Marcelo Bielsa’s men rounded off an amazing season in some style on Sunday. The Whites beat West Brom 3-1 at Elland Road, with fans able to attend a game at the ground for the first time since Leeds were promoted.

It proved to be a fitting occasion for Leeds to bid farewell to two club legends. Gaetano Berardi and Pablo Hernandez received incredible receptions as they left the field on their final appearances for the club.
But perhaps they may not prove to be the only two leaving this summer. As things stand, Alioski is set to be out of contract (via ).

The North Macedonia international has been hugely impressive lately. And his performance on Sunday left many fans imploring the club to do all they can to convince him to stay.
And Dallas certainly seems to be in agreement with those who want Alioski to stick around as he lauded the 29-year-old after the Northern Irishman won the Players’ Player of the Year award.
“I’m looking at Alioski there as well,” he said, . “I don’t know what he’s doing. [Cue shreiking noise from crowd]. I hope he stays next year. He’s a big part of it.
“All three of them, Ali, Pablo, Bera, a big part of what we’re about, what we’ve achieved in recent years.”
TBR View: No announcement over Alioski’s future could be intriguing
Some may suggest that it is intriguing that no announcement on Alioski’s future has yet been made.
Leeds did an amazing job of paying tribute to Berardi and Hernandez. They certainly did the right thing announcing ahead of the game that it would be their last.
Perhaps Alioski is yet to make a decision on his future. And he may be wary of announcing anything given the club he has predominantly been linked with.
But it is interesting that he did not share the stage with Berardi and Hernandez. Perhaps it was because there is another act to come.
