Striker Raul Jimenez makes admission Wolves fans will hate
Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez has admitted he wouldn’t be fazed moving to another club for big money.
The Mexico international has been a revelation since joining the club in the summer of 2018, initially on loan, from Benfica.
The star hit 17 goals in 2018/19, which saw Wolves break their transfer record to land him permanently for £30 million ().

In 2019, the 28-year-old has hit 33 goals for club and country and provided 17 assists.
Wolves fans are aware how lucky they are to have him, but his latest comments might just plant a seed of doubt in the minds of some.
, when asked about a potential nine-figure transfer, he said: “For a Mexican player, or for a Mexican, it would be almost impossible, perhaps because of the kind of mentality in Mexico.

“It will be said that ‘he is not so good’, whether ‘he is worth it’. But if someone pays that amount of money for someone it is because he is worth it.
“Sometimes the amounts are stratospheric but I think football has changed a lot, and it can be achieved. For me it would be an extra motivation to know that I have to give more of myself, back up what they are paying for you and continue giving things to talk about.
“It doesn’t scare me. Football is something I’ve always dreamed of, it has always been my life. Therefore, if it happens, it would be an important motivation to carry out such a transfer.”
TBR’s view – Wolves can’t entertain Jimenez interest
It is inevitable, should Jimenez’s brilliant form continue, that there will be interest in the forward

He is a striker that has now proven himself in one of the toughest leagues in the world.
He is into his prime years now and could be a coup for a team needing a number nine that is ready to go.
Wolves shouldn’t really be entertaining interest in the former Atletico Madrid man given his importance to the side – unless it really is for silly money.
