and will go for the ‘perfect’ Amadou Onana, as well as Filip Kostic after wrapping up a deal for Gianluca Scamacca.

He said: “Gianluca Scamacca is expected to become a new West Ham player soon.
“The deal is at the final stages for €36m plus €6m add-ons, plus a sell-on clause worth 10%. Sassuolo have already accepted the proposal while West Ham and Scamacca’s agent Alessandro Lucci are settling the tax details with the player.
“West Ham have also been discussing Filip Kostic with the same agent. There has already been a €12-13m offer made to Eintracht Frankfurt, but negotiations with Kostic on personal terms are still at an early stage.
“Finally, West Ham have also submitted a €38m bid for Lille midfielder Amadou Onana, but there is still no definitive agreement. The Hammers’ priority is to sign Scamacca, and then put their focus into negotiating the Onana deal further.”
Sassuolo striker Scamacca looks like he is close to sealing a switch to East London and he will certainly bring goals. The 23-year-old netted 16 goals in 36 games for Sassuolo last season and finished the sixth highest scored in the Italian league.

Kostic has been excellent during his time in the Bundesliga and won the Europa league with Frankfurt last season. The 29-year-old scored three goals and provided six assists in the competition from the wing-back role and was a vital part of the team.
As for Onana, the midfielder enjoyed a real breakthrough season at the French side last season. The 20-year-old also put in some impressive displays during their Champions League campaign.
TBR’s View: Completing three signings would add much-needed depth and competition to West Ham’s squad
All three of these players would add significant quality to West Ham’s squad but most importantly, they’ll add depth to Moyes’ team.
The Scotsman was often left a bit short last season as his team went deep into the Europa League and struggled to maintain performances in the Premier League.
Scamacca, Onana and Kostic will add healthy competition to the Hammers’ squad and allow them to compete on all fronts this season as they aim for another European run in the Europa Conference League.
