Steven Gerrard shares what he keeps hearing about Mohamed Salah at Liverpool

Mohamed Salah is undoubtedly one of Liverpool’s greatest ever players.

The Egyptian has scored more goals for Liverpool than any other player in Premier League history, and he’s an absolute superst♓ar.

However, it hasn’t always been like this for Salah.

Once upon a time, the Egyptian was a mere squad player at Chelsea who was struggling to make an impact, but through sheer hard work an🐼d de꧅termination, he’s become one of the best Premier League players ever.

Speaking on The Redmen TV, Steven Gerrard has been d💃iscus👍sing Salah’s brilliance, and he says that he’s not surprised by how he’s sustained this form into his 30s.

Indeed, Gerrard says that he speaks to a lot of people in football about how Salah continues to play at this level, and he says that he’s always being told that the Liverpool ace is obsessed with bein꧙g the best and he always works hard to make sure he is at that top level.

Mohamed Salah works so hard

Gerrard 🍸shared what p🦩eople in football have told him about Salah.

The Liverpool legend says that he’s been to🔴ld that Salah is ultra-motivated by the idea of being one of the best players in the world.

“Yeah, I’m not surprised, because I think he’s obsessed with the game. I think you can s🍒ee the body shape, you can see his routine. You know, I obviously follow his social media, and I always talk to a lot of people.

I always pick John’s (Achterberg’s) brain and what would he like on a database. John says he’s really obsesse✅d to be the best, and he wants to break records. He wants to be remembered as the best.

“So I’m not surprised in terms of how he approaches, you know, his profession. And I think he’s going to be one of these players that we’ll all appreciate even more when the day eventually comes when he moves on. I hope we sti🐟ll get another couple of years out of Mo Salah.

“I think he can deliver for many more years because of his shape, his professionalism. So I๊ hope he stays. I hope we get more out of him, but I’m not surprised because the ones that are obsessed of the profession and they’ve got that level of talent, it’s no surprise that the consistent levels are there all the time.”

How hard does Mohamed Salah work?

Mohamed Salah may be one of the most talented play𒊎ers in football, but as th💦e old saying goes, hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.

Salah combines that ability with applicatio💙n, and there have been plenty of testaments🌳 to that over the years.

Cody Gakpo claimed that Salah is alw🐼ays the first person to the tr🌄aining ground, while Arne Slot’s staff told him that Salah always returns as the fittest player in prꦰe-season.

Salah apparently came back this summer looking in the best shape he😼 ever has, and that has translated into b𝕴ril🥂liant performances on the pitch.

Salah is putting in the hard hours behind the scenes to make sure he can deliv൲er for Liverpool when it matters, a🃏nd with a big game coming up against Arsenal this weekend, it wouldn’t be a surprise if, once again, Salah was the man to make the difference.

The winger is certainly the man for the big moments at 𓆉Liverpool.
