Steve Bruce appointment could hand Josh Onomah a Hillsborough reprieve

It has been a tough season so far for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Joshua On🍷omah. The England under-21 international is currently on loan at Sheffield Wednesday. He has struggled at times for The Owls. However, a recent public dressing down from manager Jos Luhukay suggests🔯 all was not well.

“He (Onomah) was not good enough. He brought nothing on the ball. He lost three, four, five balls right at the beginning. That is the reason why he came off and we changed it. Honestly, he had no influence on the game.”

The good news for Onomah is that Luhukay is gone. is considered highly likely that he will now be replaced b🧔y Steve Bruce, which could be a blessing for Tottenham’s talented youngster.

Bruce, of course, signed Ono🌺mah on𒊎 loan for Aston Villa last season.

The expected new Wednesday boss was clearly a big fan of the Tottenham youngster and felt he could✤ add to Aston Villa’s cause. Whilst some Villa fans were never truly won over by Onomah, Bruce was a big fan.

The Tottenham youngster felt the same way.about their relationship earlier this season.

“Steve Bruce is an amazing guy, on and off the pitch he always made sure that I was feeling good. I learned a lot from him.”

If Bruce can install some 🌼confidence in Onomah once again it could see him greatly improve his performances for hiဣs loan club.

That can only be a positive thing long-term for Tottenham Hotspur. Here’s hoping Br🤪uce gets th🐈e job, as it could save Onomah’s career at Wednesday and, subsequently, Tottenham.
