Stephen Warnock thinks Liverpool should drop Sadio Mane, after Madrid horror show
Liverpool lost out 3-1 to Real Madrid last night and former defender, Stephen Warnock, believes the time has come for Klopp to drop Sadio Mane.

The forward suffered a frustrating night against Madrid and was singled out by Jurgen Klopp after the game for some harsh treatment from the referees.
Mane hasn’t scored in the Premier League since January. And although he has scored in the Champions League – he netted in each leg against RB Leipzig – Warnock believes the Senegal star needs to be dropped.
I’m sorry but it’s time for Sadio to come out of the team. Never thought I’d be saying that but he’s miles off it.

Mo Salah’s goal managed to keep Liverpool in the tie last night but in truth, Madrid probably should have put the quarter final clash to bed completely on the night.
Vinicius Junior was in fine form, while Toni Kroos delivered a masterclass in central midfield. Mane, meanwhile, struggled throughout and as Warnock says, seemed off the pace a tad.
TBR View: Mane is too good to be dropped, or is he?
And that might be the question doing the rounds in Jurgen Klopp’s head after this display. Mane did ok against Arsenal at the weekend but he’s looking nowhere near the player we’ve become accustomed to seeing.
The problem Liverpool have is who do they play instead? Diogo Jota has done well, but that means playing Bobby Firmino, who himself has been short of goals.
Mane is probably too good to be dropped at the moment but Klopp will want more from his star man, especially knowing full well what he can bring to the table on his day.
