Liverpool have survived an onslaught at Paris Saint-Germain before striking late to take a 1-0 lead back to Anfield in their Champions League last-16 tie.
The Reds were second best for most of the ga🦹me as PSG dominated them in every key metric – except the one that really counted.
Liverpool withstood 27 sh🍒ots from PSG, 10 of which were on target, and had just 29.5 percent poss𒆙ession to the hosts’ 70.5 percent.
However, Alisson Becker delivered a mastercl🌄as🧔s, making nine saves to thwart PSG and enabling the Reds to go up at the other end and score a late winner.

Warnock has described Alisson as the kind of player that clubs signꦫ for big-game performances like the one he delivered against PSG, the kind that gets teams to “win titles”.
“You need your goalkeeper to be at his very b👍est… they got away with it because of Alisson,” the former Liverpool defender said on .
“You buy those type o🎃f players for performances like that. That’s how you win titles, that’s how the🎐y won the Champions League [in 2019].
“Alisson is so key to the way they perform. He is superb at reading 💖situations. His decision-making is exceptional.”
