Stephen Warnock posts exciting four-word verdict on Leeds teenager Joe Gelhardt

Stephen Warnock has posted a four-word verdict on Leeds United teenag🌃er Joe Gelhardt on Twitter after the summer signing scored an excellent brace for the𝓀 club’s Under-23 side during a 4-1 win over Crystal Palace.

Gelhardt, 18, remained an unused substitute in last Sunday’s 2-0 win over Norwich City but he returned to Mark Jackson’s side as Leeds cruised past Palace. Prior to the match, Gelhardt had only scored one goal for the club’s second stringᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚꦍ.

On Sunday evening, he had three go🙈als to his name for the season. The attacker netted twice – while Max Dean netted from close range and Cody Drameh’s cross was inadvertently turned into Palace’s goal by an🎉 Eagles defender.

Leeds fans were full of praise for Gelhardt after the match, and ex-Leeds c🌄aptain Warnock – who played alongside Warnock at Wigan before joining Leeds for £1million () – made a four-word prediction about the striker on Twitter.

TBR’s view – What are Gelhardt’s aims for the season?

Leeds sit joint top of Premier League 2 Division 2 thanks to the win over Palace, sitting only second to Middlesbrough on goal difference. Gelhardt should be focusing on helping the Under-23 side finish top o꧑f that division.

He has made an excellent start, forming a brilliant partnership with Sam Greenwood up top. If he can continue to score and create iꦍn the Under-23 side, help Leeds win the title, and perhaps make his first-team debut – Gelhardt will have made a successful start to life at Elland Road.
