‘Star of the show’: BBC pundit wowed by ‘brilliant’ player Newcastle reportedly bid for last week
Jack Harrison has been named in the Premier League team of the week by pundit Garth Crooks.
According to the , Newcastle United recently made a second bid to try and sign the wideman from Leeds United.
It was turned down and the speculation over his future does not seem to impacting the Englishman at all right now.
Harrison was sensational as Leeds beat Chelsea 3-0 and his performance earned deserved praise from Crooks.

Harrison named in team of the week
He said: “What happened to the Chelsea that played Spurs off the park at Stamford Bridge but a week later looked like a comedy of errors against Leeds at Elland Road?
“I saw a Champions League team made to look like a mid-table Premier League side, which is where they currently sit.
Thomas Tuchel would do well to start directing some of his anger towards his players and not the games officials.
“Leeds, meanwhile, suddenly look like a proper Premier League team and Elland Road returning to the days when every team going there hated it.
“Harrison was the star of the show and has never looked back since he left Manchester City.”
Harrison was also hailed as ‘brilliant‘ by former England striker Jermain Defoe as Leeds continued their strong start to the campaign.
They blew Chelsea away and Harrison is one of the reasons they have adjusted so well to the departure of talisman Raphinha this summer.
He showed why Newcastle are keen to sign him but it seems it will require a huge bid to lure him away from Elland Road at this stage of the transfer window.
