‘Stand by it’… Player gets publicly blasted for agreeing to sign for Tottenham Hotspur
Marcel Raducanu has had a go at Radu Dragusin for agreeing to join Tottenham Hotspur over Bayern Munich this week.
Spurs mean business in this window, don’t they? After signing Timo Werner on loan until the end of the season, they are on the verge of bringing in Dragusin, who reportedly rejected Bayern Munich and chose Tottenham yesterday.

Radu Dragusin criticised for choosing Tottenham over Bayern Munich
Genoa star Radu Dragusin has been Tottenham’s top target over the last week, and it looks like he will be joining Spurs now.
The Romania international completed his medical in North London last night, and an official announcement is expected in the coming hours.
Dragusin is already on the good books of Spurs fans, not only because he’s signing for the club but also because he rejected Bayern Munich, who are one of the biggest clubs in the world.
Romanian great Marcel Raducanu, however, thinks Dragusin has made a big mistake turning down Bayern and has publicly had a go at him. He thinks the German champions are a ‘class above’ Tottenham.
He told : “Bayern are not to be refused, I say. It’s true that, at the moment, it’s a bit of a big hat for him to wear. I’ve said it before and I stand by it.
“They wouldn’t take him as a starter anyway. But, he would be playing at the moment, because the South Korean Kim is away at the Asian Cup for a month and Mazraoui is at the African Cup with the Moroccan national team.
“He could have taken advantage, and if he performed, no one would take him out of the team. Bayern are at least a class above Tottenham. Not to mention the Champions League! Do you realise how much his stock was rising?”

Ange Postecoglou made the difference for Tottenham
Even the most optimistic Tottenham fan would’ve feared the worst when Bayern Munich entered the race to sign Dragusin on Tuesday night.
The German champions were reportedly confident that they would get their man, but Dragusin’s final decision was influenced by one person – Ange Postecoglou.
reported yesterday that the Tottenham boss spoke to Dragusin and personally told him that he would be given regular opportunities if he joined Spurs.
That helped Dragusin make his mind up, and Tottenham became his preferred choice over Thomas Tuchel’s Bayern Munich.
