Spurs’s Jerome Boateng interest could be ominous for Davinson Sanchez
It is almost a month since Davinson Sanchez made a Premier League appearance for Tottenham Hotspur.
Since then, Jose Mourinho seems to have stumbled upon an incredibly impressive partnership involving Toby Alderweireld and Eric Dier.

Sanchez meanwhile, has had to rely on the Europa League for game-time. He was not even named on the bench for the win over West Bromwich Albion last weekend.
It is surely too soon to write the Colombian who earns £65,000-a-week, off. The 24-year-old is still developing his game. And he has enjoyed some incredibly bright moments in the past.
However, he does appear to have a tough task ahead of him trying to regain a spot in Mourinho’s plans. And perhaps, reports this week hint that the challenge may only get more daunting.

that Spurs are interested in Jerome Boateng. The 32-year-old is reportedly set to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season when his contract expires.
Boateng is surely unlikely to join a club where he has doubts over his game-time.
With Dier enjoying one of the better spells of his Spurs career, and Alderweireld also experiencing something of a resurgence, Tottenham could boast a really strong defensive unit.
That is before you take Joe Rodon into account as well. Rodon remains one for the future. But he is already making Mourinho’s match day squads.
Mourinho has shown on several occasions that he is not afraid to be ruthless with key Spurs players. So should Boateng arrive next summer, perhaps Sanchez may be left to ask some concerning questions about his future.
