Spurs should cash in on Serge Aurier and fund another year of Gareth Bale, amid reports
have claimed PSG can sign Serge Aurier from Spurs for around £10m and the club should use the money to fund another year of Gareth Bale.
Aurier is said to be one of the players Spurs are open to offloading. He is due to enter the final 12 months of his £70k-a-week contract and it appears the club are open to bringing some money in for him.

It is claimed Spurs will sell Aurier if PSG meet a demand of around £10m for the Ivorian, who has shared right-back duties with Mat Doherty this season in north London.
But while losing Aurier might be a blow in some way to the Spurs squad, it could well open up the door for the club to keep hold of on-loan winger, Gareth Bale.
£10m enough to get Bale with the Welshman hitting form
Much has been made about the wages Bale earns at Real Madrid and how much of that Spurs are funding in his loan spell.
And while the opening few months of Bale’s spell back at Spurs haven’t been great, the last few weeks have shown that the Welshman is still a class act when he gets going.

Next season is bound to be a massive season once again for the club. Surely, then, cashing in on a right-back who, let’s be honest, most Spurs fans wouldn’t be too fussed about losing, isn’t the end of the world if it allows for funding of Bale?
Whether that allows for Spurs to make a permanent move for Bale or not, remains to be seen. But it certainly frees up funds for at least another 12 months on loan, should Mourinho want him.
So, while Aurier is a good player in his own right on his day, he’s no Gareth Bale. Spurs, then, would be wise to consider funding a move for the Madrid man with the sale of Aurier.
