Spurs reportedly looking at £50m striker who has been compared to Luis Suarez
Tottenham Hotspur are currently being linked with a player who has previously been compared to Luis Suarez.
According to the , Spurs and Chelsea have been offered Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic.
The Serbia international was one of Real’s marquee signings last summer and joined amid much fanfare.

Jovic arrived from Eintracht Frankfurt for £50million following a superb season in which he scored 27 goals in 47 appearances.
However, he has struggled at the Bernabeu, scoring just two goals in all competitions, and was dropped from the squad for their last three games before football shut down.
The reports that both Tottenham and Chelsea have previously had the 22-year-old on their radar, but it’s unclear on if they would still be keen on him.
The report adds that Jose Mourinho and Frank Lampard plan to be in the market for a centre-forward, so Spanish club Madrid will reach out with the offer of Jovic.
Serbia coach Mladen Krstajic previously said of Jovic, as quoted by the Bundesliga : “He’s a classic goal-getter with great control of the ball and a good understanding of the game. I’d probably compare him to Luis Suarez.
“He’s courageous and dangerous at any moment because he’s always lying in wait for his chance or any inattention from the opponent. He sometimes appears impassive or lacklustre, but that’s even more deceptive for defenders and makes him even more of a threat.”
TBR View:
Jovic may have struggled at Real this season but he is an incredibly talented player whose exploits at Frankfurt made him one of Europe’s most coveted players.
Being compared to Suarez, one of the most prolific strikers of his generation, is a huge compliment and, with Spurs in dire need ot attacking reinforcements, he certainly looks like he fits the bill.
