That is according to a report from , which notes that the Serie A side would like to agree an option to buy as part of the potential deal.

Alejo Veliz keen to join Bologna on loan in January
The 20-year-old has made three substitute appearances in the Premier League. Nevertheless, there appears to be some very high hopes for the forward in North London.

Tottenham hope Veliz will prove to be as good a signing as Destiny Udogie. Meanwhile, journalist recently suggested that Veliz had managed to wow the Tottenham staff in training.
However, it seems that Veliz may not be content with his current role at Tottenham. reports that he is sad about the game-time he has had so far. And thus, he would jump at the chance to join Bologna on loan if he gets the green light.
Thiago Motta’s men have made the youngster their top target for the striker position. They would even like the option worth up to £13.15 million to sign him permanently in the summer.
Tottenham will surely only sanction straight loan
It remains to be seen whether Ange Postecoglou would be willing to let him go. But he will be wary of keeping him if he is unhappy.
It would be a surprise if Veliz was pushing to leave. Of course, he will be ambitious. But he must have known that he was going to have to be patient at Tottenham, even with Harry Kane leaving.
A loan move may prove to be beneficial. But much can change by the time the January window opens.
