Spurs must make Marcel Sabitzer move this summer after wondergoal
For many Tottenham Hotspur fans, thoughts may already be turning towards the summer as this season threatens to fizzle out with little more than a whimper.
Admittedly, a Carabao Cup final awaits. And Jose Mourinho’s men remain in the Europa League. However, there seems to be little else for Spurs fans to get excited about right now.

Whether Mourinho remains in charge or not, this summer is going to be hugely important for Tottenham. And the fans will want to see significant action taken.
One player reportedly on the radar is Marcel Sabitzer. that Spurs are one of the sides interested in signing the 26-year-old.
He will not come cheap. that he is valued at around £45 million. And convincing him to move to North London will not be easy should Spurs have no European football to offer next season.

But based on his latest moment of brilliance, it is surely fair to suggest that Tottenham have to pull out all the stops to get him.
Sabitzer scored an absolutely incredible goal on Sunday as RB Leipzig beat Hertha Berlin. It was an outrageous attempt from far out that managed to dip viciously into the far corner.
He also provided an assist in the 3-0 win. The Austrian now has five goals and two assists for the campaign in the Bundesliga.
By contrast, Spurs’ highest scoring midfielder is Tanguy Ndombele on three in the Premier League. In fact, Tottenham’s squad, without Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, have scored just 11 times in the top flight this term.
Of course, some may have their doubts over whether Sabitzer would be as influential under Mourinho. But Spurs could surely still do with another game-changer in the middle of the park.
Sabitzer is certainly that. And at around £45 million, Tottenham will be letting next season get off on the wrong note also if they do not do all they can to bring him in this summer.
