Report: Spurs keeping tabs on Wilfried Zaha as Santo keeps his options open
Spurs could be preparing a surprise bid for Crystal Palace winger and long-term Arsenal target, Wilfried Zaha, before the end of the window.
Zaha has been on Arsenal’s radar for some time now. Not a summer window has gone by in the last few seasons without the Palace winger being linked to the Gunners.
Indeed, just last month, Zaha apparently told Palace he wanted to leave, with Arsenal once again mentioned in the conversation.

However, speaking on the , via , journalist Dean Jones suggested that Spurs could now be looking to land Zaha themselves.
What I’ve heard in the last few days is that a couple of other players have been linked with Tottenham.
“I’ve heard Ismaila Sarr at Watford, Wilfried Zaha of Crystal Palace, both players that Tottenham are looking at,” Jones said.
“It hasn’t gone very far yet and maybe they won’t progress with that interest but the fact that those names are being put forward, they’re a different type of forward.”
A lot of Spurs’ late transfer business could depend on the club’s intention to keep hold of Harry Kane. Should the forward leave for Manchester City, Fabio Paratici and Nuno Santo will want new attacking options quickly.
Zaha perfect for Santo’s Spurs?
Judging by Santo’s Wolves side, adding pace to the side could well prove a smart move by the club.
With Heung-Min Son on one side of Kane – or someone else – Zaha could well flourish on the opposite side.
Zaha has proven himself year on year with Palace. The time may have come, then, for the winger to finally move on. Spurs could be ideal for him, and he could very much thrive under Santo.
