Tottenham could still sign Lucas Bergvall

Speaking about Tottenham in a Q&A for the Mail, Barlow had the following update on Bergvall.

“Spurs have made their play and it’s down to Bergvall and his family. Spurs like him a lot as do plenty of other clubs… including obviously Barcelona. It will be a coup if they can persuade him to move to London not Barca but there is less of a rush to close this deal because the intention is for him to join Postecoglou’s squad in the summer. The deal could, for example, be completed tomorrow because his registration will not change clubs until the summer window,” Barlow .

The youngster is said to have flown into Tottenham to have a look around and Dejan Kulusevski is believed to have been among the players trying to convince him to sign.

Lauded as an ‘‘ young talent, Bergvall would give Tottenham yet another top teenage talent to develop under Ange Postecoglou.

Meanwhile, a late deal for Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher has been completely ruled out.
