Spurs fans react to Oliver Skipp display vs Wolves
A number of Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to laud Oliver Skipp after his performance against Wolves in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s men are through to the fourth round of the competition after a victory over his former club. But they needed a penalty shootout to get across the line.

There were some really encouraging signs ahead of the North London derby this weekend. Both Harry Kane and Tanguy Ndombele were on the scoresheet for the visitors at Molineux.
But there was also an inspired performance in the middle of the park from Skipp.
He was excellent on the ball and seemed to whet the appetite for a future midfield consisting of himself, Ndombele and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

Skipp has shown some really bright signs in the early weeks of the season. Of course, he went into the year off the back of an amazing loan spell with Norwich as they won the Championship title.
And he, like several others, was outstanding against Manchester City on the opening day.
He has had some difficult periods. And it was interesting that Nuno decided to leave him out of the starting lineup against Chelsea at the weekend.
‘Best I’ve seen Skipp play’: Spurs fans laud starlet
But he seemed to prove a real point with his performance against Wolves on Wednesday. And it would appear that plenty would be very happy if he returned to the starting XI against Arsenal this weekend.
With that in mind, here is what some of the Tottenham fans were saying about Skipp as they booked their ticket to the fourth round…
I think this is the best I’ve seen Skipp play.

Positives have been Skipp and Tanganga and the number of goal scoring chances we’ve created. Lots of negatives too though.
