Spurs fans react to Houssem Aouar reports

A number of Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to comment on that Spurs have joined Arsenal in the race to sign Houssem Aouar.

Aouar was in superb form for Lyon last season. He scored seven times in Ligue 1, despite only starting 23 times in the top-flight.

The Sunday Mirror claimed that Lyon are ready to sell with the 22-year-old about to enter the final two years of his contract.

It has previously been reported that he could cost just £25 million. And that appears to have alerted Spurs director Fabio Paratici.

, Tottenham have joined the Gunners in the running for his signature.

It is noted that they are looking for greater creativity in midfield. And the prospect of Aouar arriving in North London has delighted many Spurs fans.

Aouar was included in the 2019/20 Champions League squad of the season. And he was previously labelled by Pep Guardiola.
