Spurs fans react on Twitter to Serge Aurier exit reports
A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on concerning Serge Aurier’s future in North London.
Aurier has enjoyed an interesting time with Spurs. And it is surely fair to say that his last two performances perfectly encapsulate how his spell with the club has gone.

He made a hugely costly error in the Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City. But he followed that with an outstanding display against Sheffield United on Sunday.
It seems that his future with Tottenham is uncertain. that he is out of contract at the end of next season. And he reportedly has a host of admirers.

The report suggests that Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid and AC Milan want the right-back. And he apparently has a release clause of just £8.5 million.
There will have been times when Tottenham fans would have been delighted to receive anything like that figure for Aurier – who earns £70,000-a-week, .
However, the opinion is now a lot more divided. Several have insisted that he is their best right-back, so losing him for that sort of fee would be a big disappointment.
Admittedly, there are some who would be happy to see him leave. But it certainly seems that more fans wish Spurs could command a much greater fee.
With that in mind, here is how some of the fans have reacted to the reports…
I’d keep him. Like him or not, he’s clearly our best RB.

If we offload Aurier – that will leave Doherty as our No1 RB – all so keen now? 10M is very low and to replaxe him will cost 20-30 minimum. He’s done very well lately!

If it’s only 10 million just keep him as a backup
— Jatin (@jatink02)
Can’t sell him for that low! It’s not worth it. Sell matt doherty for 13mill and look elsewhere
— Elliott (@SiaElliott)
Prefer him to Doherty but he is rash and liability but 10m too cheap if we paid 15m for Doherty 20-25 I’d say. We’d need to spend at least 30 on a replacement

Good… hopefully a few more will follow…team needs massive investment and better quality players….
— Michael (@egrinsteadmick)
Last year on his contract isn’t it? Time to move him on
— Jason Reynolds (@reynoldsCOYS)
Makes sense dont give him a new deal or we will be stuck with him like we are with Davies, Dier and Sissoko
— Josh (@josh_wiggan)
Our best defendet. Dont sell him.
