Spurs fans react on Twitter to Joachim Andersen’s display at Arsenal
A number of Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Joachim Andersen’s display as the centre-back shone against Arsenal on Sunday.
Fulham’s hopes of staying up were dealt a cruel blow at the Emirates. Heading into stoppage-time, Scott Parker’s side were 1-0 up against the Gunners.

However, a late equaliser would come for the home side. And it now appears that Fulham face a monumental task to stay in the Premier League.
One member of the squad who looks set to be offered the chance to play in the top flight next year whatever happens is Andersen – judging by reports from earlier this week.

that Spurs were one of the sides keen on signing the defender. In fact, it was suggested that Tottenham were set to meet with his representatives in the coming days.
He has been a shining light for Fulham this season. And his performance on Sunday prompted plenty of Spurs fans to implore Daniel Levy to do all he can to sign the 24-year-old.
Jose Mourinho’s men appear to need a new centre-back this summer. And for some, Andersen is the player who perfectly fits the bill, with many blown away by his performance at the Emirates.
With that in mind, here is what some of the Tottenham fans were saying about Andersen’s latest performance…
I really look forward to having Joachim Andersen in a Spurs shirt next season. Top player.

Joachim Andersen must be top of our list in the summer. Brilliant defender

Andersen reminds me of Alderweireld so much! I’d love him at Spurs, wanted him since we played Fulham the first time!

In 2014/15, I remember watching Alderweireld at Southampton and thinking ‘we need to sign him while he is still only on loan from Atletico’. I now have exactly the same feeling about Joachim Andersen. Snap him up for £25m, put him next to a good partner and watch Spurs improve.
