Spurs fans react as Romano claims Ben Davies could leave
A number of Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to react to a claim made by journalist Fabrizio Romano concerning the future of Ben Davies.
Fabio Paratici has lived up to his billing of being someone who rarely sits still during the transfer window.

A number of players have already left Hotspur Way. Joe Hart joined the likes of Erik Lamela and Toby Alderweireld in moving on this week.
And it seems that Davies may soon join the trio. According to Romano, the Wales international is one of the players who could leave the club next.
Unfortunately, the journalist did not offer any further information. But it is certainly an intriguing statement given that Davies has not been shrouded in speculation this summer.

The 28-year-old has been linked with Napoli earlier in the window. But the news has come as a surprise to many.
‘Mistake for me’: Spurs fans as Romano hints Davies could leave
Some are not in favour of Davies leaving. He has been a solid performer over the last seven years.
However, others believe it would be a good piece of business. The star is rivalling Sergio Reguilon and Ryan Sessegnon for a place in the side. So some think selling him may make sense for all.
With that in mind, here is how some of the fans have reacted to Romano’s claim…
This would be a foolish decision we need experienced players and as backup Davies is great

Always liked Davies. Can think of 2 other defenders I’d rather get rid of

That is a surprise

Ngl but Davies is good squad player. Not good enough for the starting 11 but for the squad he is great. Be honest who would you rather have Davies or sanchez?

Praise the lord

Thought he was staying……

Yes please

Reliable professional player. We have Regi (erratic) and Sess (unproven) in that position. Mistake for me
— Kev (@knuckey1970)
That’s a surprise but I’m not opposed, Sessegnon’s time to shine
