, Palace have agreed a deal that could cost £23 million. The initial fee they will pay Lyon is around £18.7 million.
It is little surprise to see the Dane remain in England. He was impressive, despite Fulham being relegated.
And Palace were not the only side interested. that Spurs had previously looked at the 25-year-old.

In fact, previous reports claimed that he had held talks with Tottenham. It was suggested that he was likely to remain in London by joining Spurs.

‘As long as we get Romero…’: Spurs fans react as Andersen joins Crystal Palace
But it would appear that some fans feel that Spurs have missed a trick. Several have reacted to his move to Selhurst Park by insisting that he would have been a very good signing.
Tottenham are working to sign centre-backs. They have been heavily linked with players such as Cristian Romero and Takehiro Tomiyasu.
But it does appear that Fabio Paratici may now be under a little more pressure to get those deals done. Some are not convinced that letting Andersen move elsewhere was the right decision.
Here is how some of the Spurs fans have reacted to his move to Palace…

€17m for Andersen….. PL experience, plays for his country, solid defender, better than all defenders currently have on the books. Stupid to have let him slip through the net, UNLESS – Romero and AN Other solid experienced defender is signed. 🤷🏼♂️ Facts! Don’t @ me!! 🤦🏼♂️🤣

He’s not the level we need …but I don’t think we are getting anyone who are that level …we probably won’t sign a better defender than him
