Spurs could be signing perfect Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg replacement in £30m ace who ‘always gives 200 percent’
Tottenham Hotspur are certainly on the right track ever since Ange Postecoglou took the Spurs reins last summer.
Tactics, man-management, signings… there isn’t much that the new Tottenham boss hasn’t got right so far at N17.
The outcome of this is a legitimate chance of finishing in the Premier League‘s top four this season and qualifying for the Champions League.
This summer could bring yet more changes in the Tottenham squad as Postecoglou looks to bolster his ranks even further.
Spurs’ midfield is likely to see some movement. For instance, Tanguy Ndombele is no longer in their plans and could be moved on permanently.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg‘s future also remains uncertain. He has been linked with a move for much of the season after falling down the pecking order.
Tottenham ‘know that at this point they need to sell’ Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
Fabrizio Romano recently spoke on about the Dane’s agency switch and Tottenham’s plans to cash in on him.
“The Tottenham midfielder has signed with a new agency with SUG Italy,” said Romano.
“Atletico Madrid and Fulham came close to signing him in the summer, and in January he was in the list of Juventus and Napoli.
“But nothing happened because Tottenham always said permanent transfer or nothing for Hojbjerg.
“We are entering into his final year of contract at Tottenham with his current deal expiring in summer of 2025.
“Tottenham know that at this point, they need to sell the player or lose him as a free agent. Because there are no negotiations over new deal at this stage.”
Tottenham target Conor Gallagher ‘always 200 percent’ in all he does
In terms of potential replacements, Chelsea star Conor Gallagher is likely to feature heavily on the Tottenham rumour mill.
It’s surprising that the Blues would even consider selling him, considering how much of an impact he has been making at the club.
The 24-year-old is superb with the ball at his feet, can have a real impact in the final third and has shown he can do the dirty work in the middle of the park too.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Gallagher is in England’s for the March friendlies against Brazil and Belgium.

And Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino provided yet more food for thought for Tottenham when speaking about the player on Friday.
“I think he’s convincing the England manager because of his commitment,” Pochettino told . “He’s always 200 percent in every single appearance and training.
“He needs to keep performing and keep this commitment always as it’s one of his best skills.
“He has the capacity to always be ready to fight, to commit, to help and then showing his quality. Yes, he needs to keep believing and trying to improve in this way.
“The other challenge for him is to score more goals. I think from the beginning of the season was really tough for him but now he’s scoring and feeling more confident.
“And I think now to grow in this reaction is the most important thing for him.”
Consider also Gallagher’s leadership skills – he has captained Chelsea at times this season – and it all adds up to a potential game-changer for Tottenham.
And then you have a potentially low price tag for a player of his calibre, due to his contract coming to an end next year.
recently claimed that Chelsea insiders think they won’t receive any offers over £30million for Gallagher in the upcoming window after he enters the final year of his contract.
