‘Special’ player is becoming less and less likely to leave Arsenal now
Arsenal haven’t been all that busy this summer, they have made just one major signing, and perhaps more surprisingly, they’ve made only one major sale.
Indeed, Emile Smith Rowe is the only big-name departure from Arsenal so far this summer.
More outgoings were expected in this window, but, as of yet, the likes of Kieran Tierney, Aaron Ramsdale and Eddie Nketiah haven’t found new clubs.
Reiss Nelson was linked with a move away from Arsenal earlier this summer, but, as of yet, a deal hasn’t come to fruition.
Speaking on The Arsenal Way Podcast, Kaya Kaynak has been discussing Nelson’s future at the Emirates, and he says that his chances of leaving the north London club are looking more and more slim as we get towards the end of the summer.

Reiss Nelson might stay at Arsenal
Kaynak shared what he knows about the ‘’ winger.
“As for Reiss Nelson, it is similar, wages are high, Arsenal don’t want to loan him, because why would they and I don’t think any team can afford what he would cost plus his wages,” Kaynak said.
“West Ham went for Summerville, Leicester were interested, but he’s now outside of their budget, the exit routes for him are looking more and more slim as well.”

Reiss Nelson could waste another season
Reiss Nelson wanted to look at his options so he could play more football this season.
However, he may now be staying at Arsenal, and the reality is that he could be wasting another season here.
The winger is turning 25 in a few months’ time, and the last thing he needs is to be sat on the bench for another season.
Nelson is a very good player with a lot of promise, but he will never fulfil his potential if he isn’t playing football.
With 10 days left in the window, Nelson needs to find a solution to his current predicament.
