‘Special’ midfielder could still sign for Tottenham this summer, it is not off the table
Tottenham have already signed one exciting midfielder in this transfer window.
Indeed, Spurs have brought Archie Gray to the club as they continue to focus on recruiting some of the best young talents in the country.
Interestingly, Gray isn’t the only young, English midfielder Spurs have looked at this summer.
Jacob Ramsey has been strongly linked to Spurs in recent times, but, as of late, those rumours have died down.
Speaking on Last Word on Spurs, Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth has been discussing Spurs’ links to Ramsey, and he says that he was recently told that this deal still isn’t off the table, even if reporting around this transfer has quietened down.
Tottenham could still sign Jacob Ramsey
Sheth shared what he’d been told about the ‘special’ midfielder.
“I was speaking to someone about this earlier on because it went quiet when a deal didn’t materialise, but I am told it’s not off the table yet as far as Tottenham are concerned, they are still interested in Jacob Ramsey,” Sheth said.

Ramsey would be incredible for Tottenham
Tottenham’s midfield needed a revamp heading into this summer, and if they can get Ramsey in to play alongside Archie Gray and Pape Matar Sarr in the long-term, Spurs’ midfield could well be one of the best in the country.
That’s before we even mention Lucas Bergvall and the immense potential the Swedish youngster appears to possess or the experience and ability of both Yves Bissouma and Rodrigo Bentancur.
Make no mistake about it, Tottenham’s squad does need a lot of work, but if they get through this transfer window having signed both Gray and Ramsey, then their midfield should be set for years to come.
This is a very exciting potential transfer, and one that should have Spurs fans salivating at the thought of this new-look midfield under Ange Postecoglou.
